 
          Investigator Initiated Studies (IISs)
Purpose: Cerapedics is dedicated to advancing the orthopedics space by tackling clinical needs that matter, through rigorous clinical evidence and the power of P15 Osteogenic Cell Binding Peptide. With multiple Level 1 RCTs and PMA studies, Cerapedics continues to push for clinical evidence in new spaces by supporting Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS). We recognize the importance of independent research and remain committed to supporting scientific and clinical endeavors that evaluates disease conditions, surgical approaches, outcomes and health economic analyses in the areas of clinical interest. Supporting pre-clinical study proposals will also be considered.
- Submission deadlines: on a rolling basis
- Funding Amount: Between $25,000 and $100,000
- Funding Criteria:
– All proposals will be evaluated based on following criteria:
- Significance
- Novelty
- Scientifically sound methodology
- Operational feasibility
– Cerapedics has several areas of interest, which will be given preference. These include:
- Studies that advance knowledge around bone fusion and graft options particularly furthering clinical P-15 performance.
- Fusion and/or patient reported outcomes in complex healing environments (e.g. spinal deformity, trauma) and with complex patients (e.g. revisions, osteoporotic)
- Studies involving populations including observational research (Real World Evidence) and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)
- Studies that advance knowledge of P-15 in bone fusion or novel clinical areas
- New clinical areas where P15 can have a potential impact
– Support for IIS: provision of in-kind product, provision of in-kind product and financial support, or financial support only.
– With the provision of support, the Company must not incur the obligations of a Sponsor-Investigator. The requested and approved financial support must correspond to a clear itemized budget and must be linked to study progress (milestones)
